Dancing, Dreaming, and Make-Believing
The best campaign counter-attack video I HAVE EVER SEEN. Obama 2012
”So we’re going to call their BS when we see it and we need your help to call them on it too and set the record straight. So share this, tweet it, facebook it, I keep hearing about tumblr and whatever that is…please use that too. Thank you.”
-Stephanie Cutter / Deputy Campaign Manager at Obama for America.
And a Tumblr shout-out.
I can’t wait to love you.
Lifechanging, love you. Gut wrenching, love you. Lose all my words , love you. Happy that nothing else worked out, love you. Call all your exes and tell them thank you, love you.
Can’t wait.
To my future husband.
So, as a Catholic school alumni, I have a lot of memories of me and several other 10-year-old kids performing this version of Agnus Dei (Michael W. Smith - woo!) in front of our families and peers. Oddly enough, I don’t remember it sounding anything like this. Similarly, I don’t remember ever bringing the audience to its feet.
In related news, I want to be this child/have a child exactly like him.
This is giving me so much life.
Should I have kids, I’d take one just like this!
That moment when you realize no matter how much you plan or prepare for something to happen, if it’s not supposed to happen it won’t
By conservative, I don’t mean republican.
Understand however, that I have no political affiliation requirements lol.
Just clarifying a comment.
I met someone today that actually had me reconsidering my stance on marriage.
If I were to get married, he would be the prototype.
Minus his wife.
Thus reminding me of my official stance on the subject: I’m not completely convinced the man (or type of man) I’d ideally want to spend the rest of my life (old school ideals of marriage ) is out there/single. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a long list of musts, but I do have a preference. And it’s rather simplistic. Conservative even. That’s beside the point.
Maybe today was just a reminder that they still exist.
Real Luuuuurve
For the record, I do not like Christmas music.
It’s not the message, but rather the fact that the sound of it replaying over and over drives me up the wall.
I love Christmas, minus the Christmas music.
"Yes, love is unconditional. My patience on the other hand is limited."
This place has become too familiar for comfort.
It’s time for a change. A drastic change.
I’m thinking Chicago.
Mission Chicago2012, 2013 at the latest.
Time to start preparation.
